tilos Island

Crociera in barca vela Tilos Dodecaneso Grecia

Tilos island is very rocky and sparsely inhabited, about 500 inhabitants. In the 70 were found in a cave the remains of dwarf elephants that lived on the island, died in 4500 BC seems due to a Tsounami.

There are two possible moorings: Livadia and Eristos Cove, a large bay on the south coast of the island.

At Livadia there is a village that is quite lively in the summer with a dozen restaurants on the promenade in front of the beach. You can anchor in front of the village or if there is place, enter the small harbour that has room for 5-6 boats.
