From Kos to Samos sailing route

ITINERARY

SATURDAY
Boarding in the late afternoon in Kos Town, welcome drink and accommodation in yours cabins, and then, all together are going to do buy food. In the evening , we go out to eat in a typical greek restaurant .

SUNDAY
10 miles upwind to the nearby Pserimos. We anchor in a deserted bay with white sand and crystal clear water. Lunch on board and relaxing afternoon; late, if you want to go for a walk you can get to the top of the hill, maybe with a couple of cold beers , and wait for the sunset. Dinner on boat

MONDAY
15 miles upwind sailing to the bay of Palionisos on the east coast of Kalymnos. It is a beautiful bay surrounded by high rocky mountains with a pebble beach. Lunch onboard, swiming and snorkeling, and then we will sail to reach Pandeli, on the east coast of Leros, where we will drop ours anchor in front of the beach. At sunset it is strongly recommended a nice walk to the castle of Leros where you can enjoy a magnificent view over the islands of the Dodecanese. Dinner at one of the local restaurants on the beach .

TUESDAY
Another sailing close-hauled to reach the islet of Archangelos, located off the north coast of Leros. Lunch in a deserted bay, and we will sail again upwind to get to Lipsi. We will find a mooring in the harbor; evening in the old town with the typical white houses with colorful frames .

WEDNESDAY

Pleasant sailing upwind along the east coast of Lipsi. Stop for lunch in one of the most spectacular spots in the Dodecanese. Two white rocks surrounded by an immaculate beach and transparent waters. In the afternoon another sailing close-hauled to reach Arki. We moor in the small harbor, surrounded by a few houses and restaurants with a few tables on the square. Dinner out.

THURSDAY

Morning dedicated to swimming and snorkeling in an area with a scenery comparable to those in the Caribbean. Lunch at bay and then 15 miles upwind in an area of  sea that usually is quite windy our target is Agathonisi. We will anchor in the small harbour. Agathonisi is an island with few inhabitants, off the beaten track. Do not miss the sunset stroll to visit the village of Chorio Megálo.

FRIDAY

A few miles to get to a bay on the south east coast of the island, stop for a swim and lunch and then 18 miles upwind to reach Pitagorio, Samos. We moor in the small harbor which is the heart of the town. Dinner out in some restaurant.
